Ville de Brossard is recruiting nearly 700 people to work in the 2025 municipal elections.

Entry requirements:

  • Be 16 years of age or older
  • Be available on October 25 and 26 and/or November 2, as well as for training.
  • The right to work in Quebec

No CV required.

List of available positions

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the smooth running of the electoral process inside the room.
  • Presides over the verification table.
  • Called upon to make a decision in the event of difficulty in identifying a voter.

Required:

  • Have held this position in the past (or been deputy at least 5 times)
  • Solid electoral experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Ability to work standing up all day.

 

Responsibilities :

    • Greets voters at the entrance to the premises, validates identification and directs them to a free polling station;

    • Ensures that no voter is hindered in exercising his or her right to vote;

    • Ensures that only voters who are present at a polling station at the scheduled closing time and who were unable to vote before that time are allowed to exercise their right to vote there after that time;

    • Ensures that only authorized persons are present or have access to the polling station, a polling station or the identity verification panel;

    • Assists the room manager in managing the room and staff;

    • Notify the room manager of any situation requiring his intervention.

Responsibilities :
Carry out any tasks required by the room manager or his/her deputy, always with the aim of ensuring the smooth running of the electoral process. For example, it directs voters to the right place, ensures that candidates comply with the rules, etc.

  • Understanding the electoral process
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Be available to meet the expectations of the room manager and his assistant
  • Ability to work standing up all day
  • Ability to work outdoors

Dates to remember

  • Board of review: between October 11 and 21, 2025
  • Voting day at the electoral officer’s office: October 24, 2025
  • Advance voting days: October 25 and 26, 2025
  • Polling day: November 2, 2025

Other days are to be determined according to electoral needs.
