Our planning and project implementation efforts are aimed at improving the quality of life of residents while respecting the principles of sustainable development. We enhance the environment, promote active mobility and encourage the use of public transport to get around.

- Avoid urban sprawl by concentrating development close to major public transit systems (REM and high-frequency buses).
- Plans to harmonize heights and densities with mature neighborhoods, concentrating higher heights and densities in redevelopment areas far from existing neighborhoods and located in the heart of TOD areas.
- Denser, taller sectors open up green space on public and private land.
- Create complete living environments where it’s possible to live, work, shop and use services, while adding and guaranteeing access to parks, schools and daycare.

- Development potential is evenly distributed, based on proximity to REM stations and structural transportation corridors.
Evolutionary
- Includes a mechanism for analyzing developer applications to maximize collective gains for Brossard residents, by evaluating projects that would exceed permitted standards.
