  • At RTL metropolitan ticket offices located at the Brossard, Panama or Longueuil terminuses;

How to obtain your OPUS card with photo

Ville de Brossard invites Brossard residents to obtain their OPUS card at the Brossard and Panama terminus ticket offices, for fast service and no long waits. By choosing these outlets, you benefit from greater time flexibility and help to alleviate the crowds at City Hall, where waiting times can be as long as 3 hours.

Access 65 off-peak free transport for those aged 65 and over

The Ville de Brossard, in collaboration with the Réseau de transport de Longueuil, offers its citizens aged 65 and over free travel during off-peak hours.

Access periods

  • Weekdays: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and after 6:30 p.m;
  • Weekends and public holidays: unlimited access.

Eligibility requirements

  • Be 65 years of age or older;
  • Valid OPUS card with photo.

Membership procedure

  • Pick up an OPUS card at one of the metropolitan ticket offices at the Longueuil, Brossard or Panama terminuses;
  • Fill in the Accès 65 HORS POINTE application form available on site, or print and fill it in beforehand;
  • Fill out the OPUS card application form with photo, available on site, or print it out and fill it in beforehand;
  • Provide proof of age and residency (e.g. driver’s license);
  • Pay $15 for an OPUS card (valid for 7 years).

Please note that off-peak free admission must be renewed annually, every December 31.

Important information:

    • This program does not include access to REM.

    • Off-peak free parking must be renewed annually on December 31.

    • In the event of loss, theft or damage, tickets can be easily restored.

    • Bus access only during off-peak periods (9 a.m. to 3:29 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 3:59 a.m.).

In addition to free travel during off-peak periods, Accès 65 Off-Peak offers reduced-fare single tickets for RTL during peak periods.
