Dogs at events
The Town has a by-law prohibiting the presence of pets at public events.
It is forbidden for anyone to bring an animal into a public place during a party, event or public gathering, except in the case of a guide dog or during events specifically intended for animals.
Solicitation or travelling sales
The Town has a by-law prohibiting solicitation or itinerant sales, by-law 185.
Anyone wishing to engage in itinerant sales activities must first obtain a permit issued for this purpose by the city’s urban development department.
Alcohol
Regulations governing the consumption of alcohol in public places.
It is forbidden for anyone to be in a public place:
To transport, consume or sell alcoholic beverages, except during City activities or activities organized by an organization recognized by the City or by a legal entity having a place of business on the territory of Brossard, which must comply with the conditions of use set out in section 5.2 and hold a permit issued by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec.
