Introduce children to the joy of live theater through two professional productions designed to spark their imagination. These events will give them their first taste of the stage—or let them rediscover the magic—right in their own neighborhood.
A Full-Fledged Cultural Outing
Before each performance, families are invited to participate in a free cultural outreach activity; no registration is required. While you’re there, be sure to check out the exhibition at the Galerie Renée-Blain, which is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shows start at 3 p.m.

A welcoming and accessible experience
A quiet, sensory-friendly area is available for families who would like to take a break before or during the performance.
A hearing assistance system with FM transmission is also available. People who wish to use it must bring their own compatible FM receiver.
Do parents need to buy a ticket?
Yes. Everyone attending the show must have a ticket, whether they are a child or an accompanying adult.
Why do I need to follow the recommended age?
The recommended ages are set by the performing arts companies to ensure the best possible experience for children and their families. We ask that you follow these guidelines to ensure that all spectators have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Can my baby go to the show with the rest of the family?
Children under 2 years of age may attend the show for free when seated on the lap of a parent or guardian. No ticket is required for them.
To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone in the audience, we ask that parents temporarily leave the theater if their child becomes uncomfortable during the performance. They will be able to return to the room as soon as the situation is back to normal.
A quiet, sensory-friendly area will also be available for families who wish to take a break as needed.
Is the show free?
No. There is an admission fee for family shows. The cost is $13.70 per ticket (plus taxes).
What is the Leisure Support Card (CAL)?
The Leisure Assistance Card (CAL) allows individuals with special needs to receive free assistance during certain activities. For more information on eligibility and terms and conditions, visit the Ville de Brossard’s webpage: Recreational Support Card (CAL).

Are there any activities before the show?
Yes. Starting at 2:00 p.m., families are invited to participate free of charge in a cultural outreach activity—such as a craft project—related to the program. No registration is required.
Can we visit the gallery during our visit?
Absolutely! The Renée-Blain Gallery is open before the show and features exhibitions as well as various free activities. Take this opportunity to extend your family’s cultural outing.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive by 2:00 p.m. to take part in the free cultural outreach activities and visit the exhibition at the Galerie Renée-Blain before the show begins at 3:00 p.m. The theater doors open 15 minutes before the performance, and seats are not assigned.
How is the room set up?
The room is designed to provide a comfortable experience for families. Chairs are set up at the back of the room for adults and people who prefer to sit higher up. At the front, near the stage, floor cushions are available for children who want to experience the show up close in a friendly, age-appropriate setting.
We ask parents to supervise their children throughout the performance and to choose the seating area that best suits their family.

What’s included with my ticket?
A 60-minute show, coffee or tea and a pastry per person.
How do I present my tickets on site?
You can present your tickets on your mobile device (cell phone or tablet) or print out a hard copy of the tickets you received by e-mail. If you have requested tickets by post, they will be mailed to you by the ticketing supplier Le point de vente. Just bring them with you on the day of the show. Depending on Canada Post delivery times, it may take up to 10 working days to receive them.
Are tickets exchangeable or refundable?
No, it is not possible to exchange or refund tickets.
Can I transfer my ticket or subscription to another person?
Yes, you can give your ticket to another person who can come to the show in your place.
Are groups welcome?
Yes, it is possible to buy tickets for a group of people. But the price remains the same.
What’s the advantage of subscribing?
Subscribers can reserve a seat at a specific table for all 4 shows, in addition to benefiting from an early-bird rate. Subscribe and save.
Who are the shows for?
The shows are open to all.
How will the room be positioned?
Cabaret format. Round tables seating 8 will be set up for spectators.
Are the seats reserved?
Yes, seats are assigned to a specific table, but not to particular seats around that table.
Please disregard seat numbers, your seat is assigned to a specific table; please choose your seat around the table when the show takes place.
Is the Centre socioculturel adapted for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, an elevator is available. We also offer a free companion to holders of the Carte d’accompagnement loisirs (CAL).

Can Carte d’accompagnement loisir (CAL) holders have a free companion?
Yes, holders of the Leisure Companion Card (CAL) are entitled to free admission for one companion during performances. When purchasing your ticket, you can add a free companion ticket. Following your purchase, our team will contact you to ensure your needs are met. At the entrance, you’ll need to show proof of your Leisure Companion Card so that your companion can enter the venue.

Does the venue have a hearing aid?
Yes, the auditorium is equipped with an FM hearing aid. Spectators must bring their own equipment to use the system. Please ask the staff in the room which station to tune in to.

What time do the hall doors open?
Doors open at 10:30 a.m., 30 minutes before the show.
What are the options for people with dietary restrictions?
We offer 4 types of viennoiserie: mini croissants, mini chocolatines, mini muffins and mini brioches. We also offer regular coffee and some varieties of tea. We cannot guarantee that the food is allergen-free. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, you are welcome to bring in outside food.

Please note that the possibility of a free companion ticket is only available to holders of the Carte accompagnement loisir (CAL) from the Association québécoise pour le loisir des personnes handicapées (AQLPH), and that holders must purchase their tickets to gain access to the show.
