A flexible, sustainable transportation solution: RTL’s shared cab service
RTL offers public cab services to complement its range of services in the agglomeration. The shared cab provides access to public transport by offering sustainable mobility solutions in certain less densely populated areas of the Longueuil agglomeration, which are not served by the bus network.
The shared cab is taken like the bus, using the same tickets at the same fares.
How do you recognize a shared cab?
- Cab cars are identified by a dome displaying the RTL logo and the line number;
- Stop signs are the same as those for buses, but the route number is preceded by a T to identify that it is a shared cab service.
How do I use a shared cab?
- Please arrive at the stop 5 minutes before the scheduled time;
- The shared cab runs the scheduled route whether there are customers or not;
- If the cab has reached its maximum capacity on arrival at your stop, a request is made for another cab to take over.
