The role of external corporations and organizations
External corporations and organizations are independent, for-profit or not-for-profit entities that work in partnership with Ville de Brossard. Their role is to support economic, cultural, sporting and social development by leveraging their expertise in these fields.
We work with various organizations to :
- Optimize resources by benefiting from the infrastructures and skills of specialized players;
- Encourage innovation in the management of municipal and community services;
- Offer better service to citizens through well-established, efficient organizations.
Corporations and outside organizations
These corporations and organizations are financed and supervised in several ways:
- Municipal grants: we allocate funds to support their operations;
- Strategic partnerships: we collaborate with other public and private institutions;
- Supervision process: we regularly monitor activities and results to ensure that objectives are met.
Involvement with external corporations and organizations
Citizens can take advantage of the services offered by these organizations in a variety of ways:
- Access to services: information is available on the various websites of corporations and organizations.
- Participate in activities: events, workshops and programs organized in collaboration with the City.
- Get involved: you can become a volunteer or active member of certain organizations.

Brossard Business Association (AGA)
The Association des gens d’affaires de Brossard (AGA) supports and represents Brossard’s entrepreneurs and merchants by promoting local economic development and business networking.

Espace MUNI
Espace MUNI is an organization that supports Québec municipalities in the development of their policies and initiatives in the fields of governance, citizen participation and community services.

Board of Directors of Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL)
The Board of Directors of the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is the decision-making body overseeing the management and development of public transit in the Longueuil agglomeration, including Brossard.
Agglomeration council
The agglomeration council is the body bringing together the municipalities of the Longueuil agglomeration, including Brossard, responsible for managing shared services such as public safety, public transit and waste management.
Cultural Property Corporation
The Corporation des biens culturels is the organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Brossard’s cultural heritage through cultural initiatives and events.
Manulife Theatre Corporation
The Manulife Theatre Corporation manages and programs the Manulife Theatre, a performance venue that hosts a wide variety of artistic performances for the people of Brossard and the surrounding area.
Office municipal d’habitation (OMH)
The Office municipal d’habitation provides social and affordable housing for low-income residents of Brossard, in collaboration with government and municipal authorities.
