Brossard electoral districts

Ville de Brossard is divided into 12 electoral districts, each represented by a city councillor.

Your district determines where you vote in the general election. Depending on your address, you will be invited to vote at a specific location designated for your sector.

This division aims to :

• Facilitate access to voting by bringing voting locations closer to voters;
• Ensure equitable distribution in polling stations;
• Balanced representation of Brossard’s different neighbourhoods on the municipal council.

Starting at a point where the northeast municipal boundary meets Autoroute de l’Acier (30), this highway, Boulevard de Rome, the railroad, Autoroute des Cantons-de-l’Est (10), the southeast boundary of the property at 4305 Boulevard Lapinière, the extension of the rear line of rue Cantan (southeast side), the bicycle lane from this rear line to the rear line of rue Chénier (southeast side), the extension of this rear line and the northeast municipal boundary to the point of departure.

District 2: 5,035 voters

Starting at a point where the northeast municipal boundary meets the extension of the rear line of Chénier Street (southeast side), this extension, the bicycle path from this rear line to the rear line of Cantan Street (southeast side), its extension, the southeast boundary of the property located at 4305 de Lapinière Boulevard, the Eastern Townships Autoroute (10), the railroad line, the extension of the northeast boundary of the property at 6240 avenue Boniface, this boundary, the rear line of avenue Boniface (northwest side), the rear line of avenue Bienvenue (southwest side), the southeast boundary of the property at 3550 avenue Bienvenue, the rear line of avenue Béliveau (southeast side), the rear line of Beaumanoir Crescent (southeast side) and the northeast municipal boundary to the point of departure.

District 3: 6,031 voters

Starting from a point where the northeast municipal boundary meets the rear line of Beaumanoir Crescent (southeast side), this rear line, the rear line of Béliveau Avenue (southeast side), the southeast boundary of the property at 3550 Bienvenue Avenue, the rear line of Bienvenue Avenue (southwest side), the rear line of Boniface Avenue (north-west side), the north-east boundary of the property at 6240 Boniface Avenue, its extension, the railroad line, the Eastern Townships Autoroute (10), Taschereau Boulevard, Auteuil Avenue, Lapinière Boulevard, Baillargeon Street and the north-east municipal boundary to the point of departure.

District 4: 5,736 voters

From a point where the northeast municipal boundary meets rue Baillargeon, this street, boulevard Lapinière, avenue Auteuil, boulevard Taschereau, boulevard Lapinière and the northeast municipal boundary to the starting point.

District 5: 5,952 voters

From a point where the northern municipal boundary meets avenue Platon, this avenue, rue Palerme, boulevard Pelletier, autoroute des Cantons-de-l’Est (10), pont Samuel-De Champlain and the northern municipal boundary to the starting point.

District 6: 5,615 voters

From a point where boulevard Lapinière meets boulevard Taschereau, boulevard Taschereau, boulevard de Rome, avenue Stravinski, avenue Strauss, autoroute René-Lévesque (15), the northern boundary of the property at 7620, boulevard Marie-Victorin, its extension, the western municipal boundary, the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge, the Eastern Townships Autoroute (10), boulevard Pelletier, rue Palerme, avenue Platon, the northern municipal boundary and boulevard Lapinière to the point of departure.

District 7: 4,758 voters

Starting at a point where boulevard Pelletier meets boulevard Taschereau, boulevard Taschereau, the southwest municipal boundary, the extension of the south boundary of the property located at 8600 boulevard Marie-Victorin, this boundary, Autoroute René-Lévesque (15), the extension of the rear property line of Rue Rossignol (south side), this rear property line, the rear property line of Rue Rembrandt (south and east side), Boulevard Rivard, Avenue Sorbonne and Boulevard Pelletier to the point of departure.

District 9: 5,280 voters

From a point where Niagara Avenue meets the rear line of Noisy Street (southwest side), this rear line, its extension, the railroad parallel to Isabelle Street, the southern municipal boundary, Taschereau Boulevard, the rear line of Napoleon Boulevard (northeast side), the rear line of rue Nicolet (northwest and northeast sides), the rear line of avenue Naples (northwest side) to rue Nancy, avenue Naples, avenue Neuville, rue Nelson, rue Nadeau, the northeast boundary of the property at 7955 rue Nadeau, the rear line of rue Nantes (northeast side) and avenue Niagara to the point of departure.

District 10: 4,710 voters

From a point at the intersection of Autoroute de l’Acier (30) and the northeast municipal boundary, this municipal boundary (east and south), the railroad parallel to Rue Isabelle, Boulevard de Rome and Autoroute de l’Acier (30) to the starting point.

District 11: 5,397 voters

From a point where the Eastern Townships Autoroute (10) meets the railroad, the railroad, the rear line of rue Noisy (southwest side), avenue Niagara, the rear line of rue Nantes (northeast side), the northeast boundary of the property at 7955 rue Nadeau, rue Nadeau, rue Nelson, avenue Neuville, avenue Naples to rue Nancy, the rear line of avenue Naples (northwest side), the rear line of rue Nicolet (northeast and northwest sides), the rear line of boulevard Napoléon (northeast side), boulevard Taschereau and autoroute des Cantons-de-l’Est (10) to the point of departure.

District 12: 4,579 voters

Beginning at a point where the northern boundary of the property located at 7620, boulevard Marie-Victorin meets the René-Lévesque (15) expressway, said expressway, the southeastern boundary of the property located at 8600, boulevard Marie-Victorin, its extension, the western municipal boundary, the extension of the northern boundary of the property located at 7620, boulevard Marie-Victorin and said boundary to the point of beginning.
