CodeRED automated alert system

External Cybersecurity Incident – Service temporarily unavailable
Update as of November 28, 2025

The Ville de Brossard is informing residents that a cybersecurity incident has occurred at CodeRED, our automated notification service provider. This system, which is used to notify residents during emergency situations, operates entirely independently from the City’s municipal systems. The City’s technological infrastructure has not been affected. We invite residents to check our communication channels regularly for updates.

Quickly receive emergency alerts from the city

The city has set up a system enabling it to send telephone messages* to all residents in the event of an alert or emergency situation. The recorded message is automatically triggered by voice recognition. It can also be left on voicemail.

*Please note that automated calls related to emergency alerts can originate from two numbers: 1 866-419-5000or 1 855-969-4636.

The city broadcasts its emergency communications on its Facebook and Twitter accounts, to keep you informed of important situations as soon as they arise.
