Carte accompagnement Loisir
Ville de Brossard is now a member of the Carte accompagnement loisir (CAL). This program from the Association québécoise pour le loisir des personnes handicapées (AQLPH) enables people with disabilities to register for a leisure activity with a companion, at no additional cost to the companion.

List of city activities where CAL is applicable :
- Sports activities
- Bathing periods for freestyle and/or long-distance swimming, as well as various swimming, fitness and training courses
- Free sports: tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, fatbike, pickleball and free skating
- Fitness classes: stretching, pilates, cardio, etc.
Cultural activities
- Cafés-concerts: concerts at the Alphonse-Lepage sociocultural center
- Theme concerts: concert or show presented as part of an event
- Music lessons: piano, violin, singing, etc.
How to proceed
Activity with registration
“I have the CAL card and I’m going to be accompanied”.
Before starting any activity, the user must :
add the group activity when registering on the registration platform;
present your CAL at the start of each activity, or at the time of a recurring activity, so that your companion can enter free of charge.
Here’s how to add your CAL card to the eligible activity you choose on the Ludik platform:

Free activity
“I have the CAL card and I’m going to show it during my free activity”.
During the activity, the user must :
present your CAL card at the entrance.
In all cases, free admission applies only to the accompanying person. The main participant must pay for his or her activity.

Ville de Brossard reserves the right to cancel an activity or modify a price, service or activity (location, schedule, number of classes).
Cancellation of an activity by the town
Before the start of the session
A full refund will be given to the participant if the City cancels the activity before the start of the session.
After the start of the session
A refund will be granted on a pro rata basis for the number of unused activity days.

Cancellation of an activity by the participant
Before the start of the session
A full refund will be given if the participant cancels before the start of the session. An administrative fee of 10% of the total cost of the activity will be retained.
After the start of the session
Refunds will be granted on a pro rata basis for the number of unused activity days. A penalty corresponding to the lesser of $50 or 10% of the total cost of the activity will be retained.
In order to be entitled to a refund from the City, the participant must respect the following deadlines:
- 1 to 6 lessons: refund request must be made before the 1st lesson.
- 7 to 15 lessons: refund request must be made before the 2nd lesson.
- 16 courses and more: refund request must be made before the 4th course.
- No refund possible
- If a participant fails to meet the deadlines set by the City or withdraws from an activity during the session, no refund will be given.
Withdrawal for major reasons
In the event of withdrawal for a major reason, such as illness or injury, a refund may be granted on a pro rata basis for the number of unused activity days, upon presentation of supporting documents. An administrative fee of 10% of the total cost of the activity will be retained.

Correction or return of a post-dated cheque following cancellation of an activity by the participant :
An administration fee of $12.00 will be charged. NSF cheque fee: $22.78.

Consumer rebates
Water activities
A discount is applicable when a participant registers for more than one aquatic fitness class of the same duration (55 minutes or 45 minutes). The discount applies to a maximum of 3 courses.
Fitness activities
A discount is applicable when a participant registers for more than one fitness class of the same family/category. The discount applies to a maximum of 4 courses.
Classes eligible for the consumer discount are those in the cardio-tonus, postural stretching and fitness categories.
Family discount
Lessons (Music school)
A 10% discount applies if two members of the same family register for an activity or if one person registers for two courses, 15% if more than two.
