Preschool swimming

Comprising the Parent & Child and Preschool modules of the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life program, these courses are specially designed for toddlers and children aged 0 to 5. Learn to play in water in a social context and develop the basic skills needed to learn to swim.

Registration

Registration for residents opens on March 24 at 6 p.m., and for non-residents on Saturday, March 28 at 9 a.m.

  • Residents: from Tuesday, March 24 at 6 p.m.
  • Non-residents: from Saturday, March 28, 9 a.m.
  • The participant must be of the required age for the first course; no exceptions will be considered.
  • It is not possible to repeat or reschedule a missed lesson.
  • Water safety instruction may occasionally take place outside the water.

Keep an eye on the registration site to see if any places become available.

If there is an increase in manpower availability that allows us to add new courses, you will be given priority for these. If you are added to a new course, the City will contact you and you will have 48 hours to make payment.
