Rental service

A free rental service is available on site. Consult the size guide :

  • Child: under 4’9
  • Small: 4’9″ to 5’4
  • Medium: 5’4″ to 5’9
  • Wide: 5′ 9″ to 6′ 2

General regulations

  • Reserved only for residents with a bciti+ account (free) and a valid bciti+ leisure membership ($).
  • Proof of identity required for each participant.
  • A photo ID must be left on site, which you can pick up when you return the equipment.
  • Participants will be required to sign a liability acceptance form.
  • Participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Bikes are available on loan for a maximum trial period of 50 minutes per person. Trials may be shortened depending on the number of participants.
  • A total of 7 adult bikes and 5 children’s bikes will be available.
  • Adult bikes are for users aged 12 and over and size references are approximate and based on user size.

Practice regulations

  • Please note that there are no employees designated as escorts during trials. The role of on-site employees is to ensure the loan and recovery of equipment.
  • Riding a bike with oversized tires requires a certain basic skill.
  • Bicycle lanes are to be preferred.
  • Make sure you manage your time well, as you’ll need to return before the end of your trial period.
  • Helmets must be worn.
  • Dress warmly.
  • By proceeding with a trial, the participant declares :
    • Recognize and understand that riding a bike with oversized tires involves risks (falls, flat tires, broken parts, bike breakage, etc.).
    • Assume responsibility, to the full exoneration of the City, for any risk involved in riding a bicycle with oversized tires.
    • Have read the booking conditions posted on the Town’s website, and agree to abide by them.
    • Release Ville de Brossard and its employees from all liability for any damage and/or injury arising or resulting directly or indirectly from his or her participation in the oversize tire bicycle activity.
