In several situations, the Ville de Brossard is required to publish public notices, particularly when City Council adopts a bylaw, approves applications for minor zoning variances, and in certain other cases (filing of the assessment roll, municipal elections, etc.). Furthermore, in accordance with the Cities and Towns Act, the Planning and Urban Development Act, and other applicable laws, as applicable, the City regularly publishes public notices regarding municipal matters.
Public notices are posted on the website to make them more accessible; this does not replace the obligations set forth in the Act. Notices regarding calls for bids are published through the SEAO electronic bidding system.
