Financial assistance is subject to the submission of all required documents. Any application deemed incomplete will be refused and returned to the addressee.

Soil and biodiversity

    • Promote biodiversity in the region by creating pollinator gardens and installing insect hotels, nesting boxes, etc.

    • Encourage urban agriculture by creating a collective or community garden.

Air and climate change

    • Reduce urban heat islands by demineralizing a site and planting large-scale trees (parking lots, “dead zones”, etc.) or vertical vegetation, etc.

    • Improve stormwater management by disconnecting gutters and creating a rain garden.

    • Encourage active mobility by installing bicycle racks.

Water

    • Stabilize banks to limit erosion and improve water quality by planting shrubs and herbaceous plants with strong root and rhizome systems.

Nuisances

    • Any project that has a beneficial impact on the quality of the environment by reducing nuisances and improving urban health, such as stream or woodland clean-ups.

Residual materials

    • Valorize residual materials and reduce landfill by renting a leaf shredder to make compost or mulch, or by creating a system for sharing goods and services.
