Did you know?
As of July 1, 2015, GST and QST no longer apply to feminine hygiene products, such as sanitary pads, tampons, menstrual cups and others. This is why taxes on products purchased abroad are not eligible.

A significant environmental impact
It is estimated that a menstruating person will use between 5,000 and 15,000 tampons or sanitary pads in her lifetime. This represents 212 lbs of waste. Considering that the cost of reusable protectors can be an obstacle to changing habits, the City has created this subsidy program.
