Home daycare owners, make your declaration!
As of September 1, 2026, any daycare center established in a private residence will have to be recognized by a Coordinating Office. For more information, consult the Quebec government’s page on the subject (Recognized or unrecognized daycare services. )
In the meantime, the city is inviting operators of currently unrecognized family daycares to complete an online voluntary declaration.
The aim of this register is to ensure that these establishments can be properly contacted in the event of an emergency.
Information required on the form
- Name of daycare
- Number of children who can be accommodated
- Name and surname of manager
- Contact
- Daycare address
- # Telephone number of person in charge
- Second phone number in case of emergency
