In line with the objectives of its action plan for people with disabilities, the City of Brossard has acquired a toboggan that enables citizens with reduced mobility to participate in free skating sessions using this specialized, Quebec-made equipment. The city wishes to enable citizens with reduced mobility and an accompanying adult to take part in free skating sessions.

This specialized equipment is available free of charge to facilitate the integration of all citizens, of all age groups, from primary school upwards, wishing to develop healthy lifestyle habits.
It is possible to use the Agilex sled, subject to availability, by checking with the supervisor at the CN Sports Complex during free skating sessions.
- Bciti subscription mandatory for the user. Not required for the accompanying skater;
- Resident only;
- Helmet mandatory for user;
- 50-minute time slot;
- All participants must leave the ice at the end of the session, regardless of their arrival time.
Ville de Brossard is proud to announce the purchase of 8 adjustable skating aids, thanks to a contribution from the Ministère de l’Éducation and Loisir et Sport Montérégie.
The purchase of this equipment for apprentice skaters taking part in introductory courses or free skating sessions was part of the ” Vite sur ses patins… sous peu! ” project.
The project was carried out in partnership with Loisir et Sport Montérégie, with financial assistance from the Quebec government under the Programme d’aide financière aux initiatives locales et régionales en matière d’activité physique.
Free skating sessions at the CN sports complex and Michel-Normandin arena welcomed over 12,000 skaters this winter.
