Salary increases

  • Lump-sum payment for 2024 and 2025;
  • Implementation of a new three-tier salary structure and 2.75% increase for 2026

  • 2% for the years 2030 to 2031.

Bonuses

In addition to wage adjustments, the new agreement includes a number of measures designed to provide a safe, rewarding and harmonious workplace.

Key measures include

  • improvements in work clothing;
  • additional educational leave and mobile leave.

The members of the Brigadiers’ Union voted unanimously in favor of this agreement in principle at a general meeting held on December 8.

“School crossing guards play an essential role in our community. Present every day, summer and winter, they vigilantly, calmly and benevolently ensure the safety of our young people in the vicinity of our schools. This agreement is a concrete recognition of their contribution to the daily life of our neighbourhoods,” declared Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.
