Ville de Brossard | Restructuring of the General Management organization chart

26 January 2023 Last update 17/05/2025

Ville de Brossard is restructuring its general management organization around its three major projects.

During the presentation of the City of Brossard’s budget at the December 20, 2022 council meeting, the city presented three major projects that Brossard will be working on over the next few years. The first is related to land management, the second to community services management and the third to human resources management.

“The population of the City of Brossard is booming, and will reach over 100,000 in a few years. At this pivotal point in its future, the city must adapt its organizational structure to meet the challenges it faces and respond more effectively to the needs of its citizens,” said Brossard Mayor Doreen Assaad.

In consultation with the political body and the General Management, and with a view to improvement and coherence, the General Management’s organization chart was reviewed in order to optimize operations and ways of doing things in relation to the City’s three major projects.

Here is the new General Management organization chart.

Corporate and functional departments will continue to report to the General Manager. They are responsible for providing guidance and expertise to the various operational departments. In addition, they must propose policies and ensure compliance with them, as well as with the standards established in the course of the City’s day-to-day operations.

Departments and services concerned :
