Good news for residents of Sector A: the City of Brossard will be acquiring a large plot of land at 6001-6003 Avenue Auteuil, with a view to transforming it into a green space. This initiative is part of a clear commitment to greening a much-needed sector, while meeting the expectations expressed by the public.
This acquisition will create a natural space accessible to all, promoting a better quality of life.
In the spring of 2025, residents of this area had expressed their desire for more green space in their neighborhood in a survey. With this decision, the city is demonstrating its willingness to listen and to take concrete action to improve the living environment of its citizens.
“The addition of a green space in this area is a direct response to the needs expressed by the community. It’s an investment in the collective well-being and future of our city,” said Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.
“We’ve listened to the citizens of Sector A, and we’re taking action. This project is a strong gesture to improve quality of life and provide a healthier environment for our families,” said Stéphanie Quintal, municipal councillor for the sector.
