Ville de Brossard announces major changes to collection schedules in all sectors

Important changes to collection days come into effect on January 1

Major changes to garbage, recycling and green waste collection days will come into effect on January^1, 2023 for all sectors of the City of Brossard. These changes will enable the contractor responsible for residual materials collection to better meet the needs of residents. Note that there is no reduction in service across the entire territory.

Changes by sector

Sectors N-W-S

Recycling collection moves from Friday to Thursday.
No change for other types of collection.

Sectors P-R-T-V

Garbage collection is switched from Wednesday to Monday.
Green waste collection shifts from Monday to Thursday.
No change for other types of collection.

Sectors A-B-E

Green waste collection runs from Monday to Friday.
No change for other types of collection.

Sectors C-I-J-L-M-X-Y

Garbage collection is switched from Wednesday to Monday.
Recycling collection moves from Friday to Thursday.
Green waste collection moves from Monday to Wednesday.
No change for other types of collection.
