In solidarity with the loved ones affected by the tragedy in Vancouver last Saturday, the city has lowered its flags to half-mast.
In solidarity with the families of the victims, the Filipino community and all Vancouverites affected by the tragedy in Vancouver last Saturday, the City of Brossard lowered its flags in front of City Hall today.
“I am both disturbed and shocked by this tragedy which has cost the lives of at least 11 people. This is an incomprehensible act. Acts of this nature are unacceptable. The entire population has been in mourning since the tragedy that claimed so many innocent victims. On behalf of all the members of the municipal council and the city’s staff, I join the people of Brossard in offering my sincere condolences to the bereaved families. My heart goes out to them”, declared Mayor Doreen Assaad.
