Swearing-in of City Council 2025-2029

Ville de Brossard’s new municipal council was sworn in on Sunday, November 9, at an official ceremony held at the Alphonse-Lepage sociocultural center, in the presence of family and friends. City of Brossard clerk Joanne Skelling swore in the 12 members of the new municipal council, as well as the re-elected mayor, Doreen Assaad.

Ms. Doreen Assaad took her oath of office as a municipal councillor for the fifth time, including three as mayor.

The elected members proclaimed on November 7, 2025 by election chair Joanne Skelling are now officially in office for the 2025-2029 term.

The ceremony marks the end of the electoral process and the start of a new municipal mandate based on collaboration, citizen service and territorial development.
