Ville de Brossard announces the return of its annual event for pet lovers. Pet Day will be held on Saturday, June 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Michel-Normandin arena. It’s an opportunity to learn more about the health and well-being of our faithful companions, have fun and make amazing discoveries.
Comedian and host Stéphane Fallu is back again this year as spokesperson. Well-known for his programs on the animal world (Refuge animal) and, above all, for his love of animals, he will be on hand to chat with visitors.
It’s a date!
Over twenty (20) exhibitors will be present, bringing together under one roof canine and feline behaviorists, manufacturers of local products and several cat and dog shelters offering responsible adoption. It’s a not-to-be-missed event where the whole family can have a great time learning about good behavior with our canine and feline friends.
Exhibitors will include, among others:
- Educazoo, to raise visitors’ awareness of the needs of exotic animals;
- Shelby’s Universe, featuring agility shows;
- Animal shelters presenting their residents.
Last but not least, the Faim Renard street truck will be on hand to satisfy any munchies.
Animals not allowed inside
In order to reduce stress to the animals on site, visitors’ pets will not be accepted. Those taking advantage of the microchipping service will also have access to a daycare center for the duration of the event.
Microchip registration required
You can have your pet microchipped by SPCA Roussillon veterinarians. Owners must register their pets online at brossard JAC before the event. The deadline is May 15. Places are limited.
