The City of Brossard is proud to announce the reopening of the piscine Champlain , completely transformed following a major redevelopment. This structuring project testifies to the city’s ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life of its citizens by offering modern, safe, accessible and sustainable living environments.
An infrastructure redesigned for today’s needs
Faced with outdated facilities, the city invested $11.3 million to completely rethink the aquatic space, making it more attractive, inclusive and adapted to the current needs of families and people of all ages.
The concrete pool was rebuilt to include universal access, a beach entrance, a slide, a water basketball game and up to five swim lanes. The capacity has been maintained at 350 bathers.

Improved facilities, summer and winter alike
The redevelopment also includes :
- new water games located outside the pool enclosure, accessible on an extended schedule;
- a four-season service building that can also serve winter activities such as skating;
- universal toilets and changing rooms;
- a public toilet for park users;
- Relaxation areas with street furniture and picnic tables.
It should be noted that some installations will be commissioned progressively over the coming weeks.
