The Brossard aquatic complex will be closed from August 26 to September 29 inclusive for pool maintenance and equipment cleaning.
Basin maintenance
The basins will be completely emptied and cleaned, including the walkway, deposits, chutes, slide, dips and filters. This is a time-consuming process, as the basins have to be emptied and refilled at specific intervals. The water must then be filtered, heated, and its parameters adjusted for the comfort of bathers.
Room maintenance
Like the basins, the rooms will be completely emptied and thoroughly cleaned. It’s also an opportunity to carry out repairs and maintenance, especially on floors and audiovisual systems.
Corrective work and improvements
Remedial work to improve the user experience will be carried out, including work on the exterior glass railings, repair of a curtain wall and improvements to the ergonomics of the reception counter. In addition, some equipment will be protected.
Reception desk opening hours during closing time
- Monday to Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. (closed on Monday, September 2 for Labour Day)
- Saturday and Sunday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
