Brossard gets a makeover
With the arrival of spring, the Ville de Brossard begins its annual spring-cleaning operation throughout its territory.
Since the beginning of April, municipal crews have been cleaning streets, sidewalks and bike paths to remove winter residues. Work begins on the boulevards, then continues on the collector and residential streets. Several passes are necessary to ensure complete and lasting cleaning of the abrasives; the result improves progressively with each intervention. Operations will be spread over several weeks, depending on weather conditions.
At the same time, teams are busy restoring parks and sports fields in preparation for the summer season. The Town reminds you to wait for the official opening of the sports fields before using them, to avoid damaging them and to preserve the quality of the surfaces for all users.
“The return of spring is a long-awaited moment, and our teams are already hard at work, in a coordinated and planned fashion, to restore our public spaces and prepare for the summer season. We’d like to thank all our residents for their cooperation,” says Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.
To facilitate operations, the public is asked to respect the temporary signs and avoid parking in the areas concerned during the work.
