Ville de Brossard invites the public to the Perform’ART event on September 29 and 30, at the Alphonse-Lepage sociocultural center. As part of the Journées de la culture, visitors young and old are invited to take part in a wide range of artistic activities, attend breathtaking performances and discover talented Brussel-based businesses and artists.
Perform’ART: The new cultural rendez-vous!
The Salon des arts visuels celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2023, and for this special occasion, it has transformed itself and become the Perform’ART! event. In a new, dynamic format, Perform’ART showcases Brussel’s artistic creators and businesses, with more than 30 booths.

Richly colored temporary henna tattoos to remember your evening at Perform ART.
7 pm to 7:15 pm | Event launch ceremony
Exceptional performance by François, le Violon Humain, followed by the official launch of the event.
7:15 to 9 p.m. | Aroma Jockey | Jarome
Have you ever heard of a Flavor Dj? There are only three in the world, and one of them lives in Brossard! Come feel, hear and experience an immersive multi-sensory journey that also stimulates well-being. A unique experience!
7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. | Meet the artist | Siris the cartoonist
Meet Siris, the famous cartoonist! A golden opportunity to chat with a comics creator and immerse yourself in the artist’s world.
SATURDAY, September 30 – 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Recycling artist Étienne Cyr
This inventive and ingenious designer transforms matter into surprising robotic form! Etienne Cyr uses obsolete objects from the past and combines them to shape robotic characters from the future with his nimble sculptor/recoverer fingers.
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Participatory mural | Charlem Lepeintre
Because the world is color, come and add your own personal touch to this colorful, ephemeral fresco!
11 h 30 à 12 h | Music showcase | Festival Fanmi se fanmi
Come and sway to the music of the culturally diverse artists who will be performing at the Fanmi se Fanmi Festival in Quebec over the coming months.
1:30 pm to 9 pm | Introduction to watercolor painting | Kanvaz Atelier de Peinture
Discover your inner artist and express yourself through a watercolor workshop, whatever your age or skill level.
1:30 to 4:30 p.m. | LEGO Workshop | Les Ateliers Brickomaniacs
Dip your fingers into the LEGO pool to choose your pieces and build creations to match your imagination!
3 pm to 4 pm | Lecture: Art in the age of artificial intelligence | Sofian Audry
In this presentation based on his book Art in the Age of Machine Learning, transdisciplinary artist and scientist Sofian Audry sets the record straight by looking at artistic practices at the intersection of machine learning and digital art.
6 p.m. to 9 p.m. | Video Mapping and DJ | Mixbus Studio
Come and discover a school bus converted into a nomadic stage with a musical DJ on the roof and interactive video projections on the façade! The evening will end with a great game of Just Dance to get the audience moving and end the event on a high note!
7:30 to 8 p.m. | Le Violon humain | François Ouimet
A unique brossardois artist will be premiering his new instrument: the human violin! A luminous, electrifying performance that will amaze you!
