Ville de Brossard invites the public to take part in the cultural event of the year, the popular Journées de la culture, at the Centre socioculturel Alphonse-Lepage, 7905 avenue San Francisco. In a dynamic, participatory format, Perform’ART showcases over 50 artistic creators and companies from a variety of disciplines, and presents a multitude of unique and original workshops and performances.

Indeed, a weekend of “ART” awaits every participant: a sparkling Friday launch, a dynamic Saturday afternoon, a festive Saturday evening and a colorful Sunday afternoon. Between workshops, activities and performances, young and old alike will have a great time!

Here is an overview of the program:

6 p.m. to 9 p.m. | Body painting style camouflage | Jinny

The internationally-renowned artist performs a body painting that aims to camouflage his model and make her disappear from the background. Totally impressive!

7 to 9 p.m. | Silent Disco | Silent Dee

Young and old alike put on their headphones to get in on the action! Through the green, red and blue colors that illuminate the space, they choose their musical ambience! Two live DJs will each occupy a channel and try to provide the best entertainment.

This luminous dance performance will transport the audience into a universe where art and technology come together to create moments of pure wonder and fascination.
