Saveurs des Fêtes, the not-to-be-missed festive event organized by the City of Brossard, welcomed thousands of visitors from November 18 to 20 at the Alphonse-Lepage sociocultural center. In a magical holiday atmosphere, the public discovered gourmet products and original treasures from over 70 local artisans, as well as a series of shows and exhibitions.
With a return to the warm, traditional atmosphere of the holiday season, visitors to the outdoor site were treated to a host of entertainment, enchanting tree houses and a visit from Santa Claus.
“This year’s Saveurs des Fêtes was a great opportunity to make new discoveries with the nostalgic Veillées du bon vieux temps, offering six free Trad music shows on our new outdoor stage that kept us singing and dancing,” said Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard. “A big thank you to musician Nicolas Boulerice, our spokesperson who represented the program well this year, as well as to the many visitors who supported our artisans and exhibitors with buy local.”
Coup de Coeur du Public 2022 award
Each visitor could vote for his or her favourite exhibitor, whether for the nature of their products, their booth or the transmission of their art. On November 20, deputy mayor Michelle Jarnam Hui presented the grand prize to Verre Lucie Mayer for its recycled glass creations.
