Reserve your tree on August 6 to green Brossard!

Environment 31 July 2025 Last update 04/08/2025

Arbor Day 2025

Brossard’s Arbour Day is back again this year, offering citizens the chance to make a concrete gesture for the environment by purchasing one of 200 trees for only $10. To participate in the greening of Brossard, Brossard residents must reserve their plant online from August 6, 2025, 12:30 p.m. onwards.

Carefully selected for their quality, good size and adaptability to the local climate, these trees will help increase the urban forest cover. Quantities are limited – first come, first served!

Adding trees to our territory is at the heart of our strategic planning, as a concrete gesture in favor of a healthier, more resilient environment. Every tree planted contributes to improving the quality of life of our citizens, enhancing our urban canopy and reducing heat islands. More than 10,000 plants have been distributed across the territory since the launch of this initiative, and that’s 10,000 reasons to believe that our city is growing a greener future, one root at a time, for future generations,” says Mayor Doreen Assaad.

  • An easy, practical way to improve our planet’s climate!

Home delivery

The chosen tree will be delivered directly to your home between September 8 and October 3, 2025. Citizens must choose a good location for the plant and do the planting themselves. To learn tips and tricks on planting, a guide to recommended distances when planting trees is available online.
