Longueuil, July 5, 2019 – The Ministère des Transports wishes to inform road users and its partners that the construction site for the new Réseau express métropolitain (REM) on Autoroute 10, between Exit 11 for Autoroute 30 and Boulevard Leduc, in Brossard, will now be monitored by mobile photo radar.
Signs installed upstream will inform road users. The sign features an orange background, the same pictogram used elsewhere on the road network to announce the possible presence of photo radar.
Remember that when a violation is detected by photo radar, no demerit points are added to the vehicle owner’s record, but the fine is doubled when the violation is committed in a roadworks zone.
Road users are invited to consult the list of roadwork zones targeted by photo radar on Quebec 511.
