Ville de Brossard is proud to announce that it has won the prestigious Plumes d’excellence 2024 award from the ACMQ.

Ville de Brossard is proud to announce that it has won the prestigious Plumes d’excellence 2024 award, presented by the Association des communicateurs municipaux du Québec. The award, which recognizes excellence in municipal communications, went to the Communications Department in the Events Campaign category for the Christmas Market held last November.

“We are deeply honoured to receive this prestigious award, which not only underscores our commitment to quality and innovation in municipal communications, but also highlights the work of the Communications Department,” said Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.

“By choosing to rename and reposition the traditional Salon des métiers d’art as the Marché de Noël, Ville de Brossard has brilliantly renewed this event. The jury praised our innovative positioning strategy,” said Colette Ouellet, Director of Communications for Ville de Brossard.

Ville de Brossard would like to warmly thank the Plumes d’excellence 2024 jury for recognizing its efforts. She also expresses her gratitude to everyone involved, including volunteers, partners and employees of the Direction du loisir, de la culture et de la vie communautaire and of Public Works, for their dedication and passion. This award reflects their commitment and invaluable contribution to the vitality and conviviality of the Christmas Market.

The Plumes d’excellence awards encourage municipalities to push back the boundaries of innovation, adopt new approaches and adapt their communications to the rapid changes taking place in society. Ville de Brossard is committed to continuing along this path, innovating and responding to the changing needs of the people of Brossard.

Brossardites are invited to continue their active participation in future events that make Brossard a dynamic and welcoming city.
