CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS | The City of Brossard is looking for artists of all kinds.
Ville de Brossard is looking for artists of all kinds. Painters, photographers, digital artists, performers (dance, music, circus, etc.) and sculptors are sought to participate in Perform ART, the must-see cultural event of the Journées de la culture from September 27 to 29, presented at the center socioculturel Alphonse-Lepage. Artists are invited to perform, exhibit or set up a booth during the event to showcase their talent to the public.
An exceptional event!
In a dynamic format, Perform’ART will showcase creators and artistic enterprises from Brossard and across Quebec, and present a multitude of workshops and performances of all kinds. The first part of the event is dedicated to kiosks (with panels) featuring artists from all artistic disciplines (visual art, photography, digital art, etc.). The second component is the participatory performances and experimental workshops offered by professional artists from art-related disciplines.

Following on from its first edition in 2023, Perform’ART (formerly the Salon des arts visuels) goes from strength to strength. Changes were made to the event in response to suggestions from participants and visitors. The formula has been reworked to better meet artists’ needs. A formal vernissage is planned to launch the event, as well as a lively networking activity for participants.
Submission and deadline
To register, the artist must complete the interactive form available by calling. The deadline for submissions is May 12, 2024. Please note that the non-refundable registration fee is $61.50 (taxes included). Applications are selected by a committee, and the results will be announced in June 2024. Selected participants will be required to pay the registration fee at that time.
Perform’ART will take place at the Centre Socioculturel Alphonse-Lepage, 7905 avenue San Francisco, during the Journées de la culture, according to the following schedule:
Friday, September 27 | 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, September 28 | 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday, September 29 | 1 to 4 p.m.
