The city welcomes L’OSM dans les parcs SiriusXM on its territory on July 27, 7:30 p.m., at parc Poly-aréna.
For a 6th year, the city welcomes L’OSM to the SiriusXM parks on its territory. This prestigious free event, bringing together classical music fans, families and friends in the open air, will take place at Poly-aréna Park on Thursday, July 27, starting at 7:30 pm.
“This summer, the people of Brussells will be spoilt for choice by the diversity of events on offer, allowing them to make the most of the summer season. In addition to the many activities offered as part of the Heart of Summer program, we’re delighted to welcome the OSM to our home for the 6th time. We are extremely pleased and proud to be able to offer our citizens, once again this year, a concert of such quality and international renown. I therefore invite you to attend this exceptional musical event in large numbers on July 27,” enthused Brossard Mayor Doreen Assaad.
Classical dancing for all!
Comedian André Robitaille will act as master of ceremonies for this grand concert. Starting at 7:30 p.m., conductor Simon Rivard, renowned saxophonist and clarinetist André Moisan, and colorful soprano Suzanne Taffot will take you on a musical journey from the U.S. to Europe, with dance as the main theme. This unifying and inspiring repertoire is sure to please music lovers of all ages.
Free, convenient shuttles
A free shuttle service is offered to the public to facilitate travel and avoid the need to search for parking spaces. RTL buses will run to and from the Centre Socioculturel Alphonse-Lepage (next to the library, 7905 San Francisco Ave.) and Poly-Aréna Park before and after the show.
What’s more, RTL offers free bus service on routes 35, 41, 43 and 44 to Poly-aréna park. To take advantage of this opportunity, visit brossard.ca/OSM to download the coupon. Departures for the journey home will begin as soon as the show ends.
Think comfort and pleasure!
To make the most of this unique experience in optimum comfort, residents are invited to bring their own picnic, folding chair or ground cover, and water bottle.
Good weather Bad weather
On a fine summer’s evening, a beautiful sunset could be in store at the end of the concert. But if it rains, the concert will still go ahead. So it’s a good idea to bring along a raincoat.
Fido stays home
As with all public events held in City parks, pets are NOT allowed on the premises.
SiriusXM L’OSM dans les parcs also has proud partners BMO and Volvo Canada.
