22 September 2020 Last update 17/05/2025

Trouvé à Brossard aims to showcase the city’s wealth of commercial offerings through the bciti application.

As part of its major Trouvé à Brossard promotional campaign, which aims to showcase the full wealth of its commercial offering, the City of Brossard today unveils a new digital showcase accessible through the bciti application. Called eco Local, it’s primarily an interactive map that will make it quick and easy to find the nearly 1,500 businesses that shape Brossard’s economic vitality. Who knows? Perhaps you’ll discover a little jewel near you?

“Beyond the urgency of the current situation, the city council attaches the utmost importance to Brossard’s economic vitality. Innovative, creative and resolutely digital, the Trouvé à Brossard campaign reflects the city’s image. I invite the population of Brossard and the entire South Shore to consult the new eco-local section in their bciti application right away,” declared Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.

An interactive map and an inspiring blog

To access it, simply go to brossard.eco-local.ca or click on the eco-local menu on the bciti application home page. An interactive map is then displayed, showing the location of goods and services businesses in Brossard. You can filter your search by business category or by certain characteristics, such as home delivery, for example. It’s never been easier to discover the many little gems that make up Brossard’s commercial offering!

In addition to the interactive map, an inspiring blog will spotlight a number of Brossard businesses recommended by well-known citizens and contributors, including the Signé Trio gourmand collective made up of nutritionist Hélène Laurendeau, culinary expert François Longpré and food critic Jean-Philippe Tastet.

Trouvé à Brossard promotional campaign

For the past few days, residents of Brossard and surrounding towns have been able to see – in all four corners of the city and region – messages from the Trouvé à Brossard promotional campaign, highlighting the diversity and depth of Brossard’s commercial offering.

With this campaign, the city wants to remind people that buying in Brossard is practical, efficient and smart. We make life easier for ourselves by cutting down on travel, and we save time and money by finding what we need close to home. You’ll find everything in Brossard, from major brands to hidden treasures, from the most practical to the most extravagant!

But buying in Brossard also means supporting our shopkeepers, who create jobs here and have gone through a difficult period in recent months.

A working committee on Brossard’s economic recovery

To develop a coherent, relevant concept and promotional campaign, the city brought together various business partners to form a working committee on Brossard’s economic recovery. They were given a sneak preview of the first images of the application and campaign. The committee will continue to meet over the coming months, as the campaign and application evolve with the seasons.
