30 confirmed candidates, two formations in the running
Ville de Brossard returning officer Joanne Skelling has announced the official closing of the nomination period for the November 2, 2025 municipal election, following the close of nominations on Friday, October 3 at 4:30 p.m.
A total of 30 applications were received and accepted. Following the withdrawal of independent candidate Giancarlo Qualizza in district 10 on October 10, 2025, two political parties will field candidates in the 12 districts and for mayor, in addition to three independent candidates:

Brossard voters will be called to the polls on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Early voting days will be held on Friday October 24, Saturday October 25 and Sunday October 26, from 12 pm to 8 pm.
Due to the strike at Canada Post, the City is currently working on solutions for distributing Notices to the Voter.
