Ville de Brossard returning officer Joanne Skelling has announced the official closing of the nomination period for the November 2, 2025 municipal election, following the close of nominations on Friday, October 3 at 4:30 p.m.

A total of 30 applications were received and accepted. Following the withdrawal of independent candidate Giancarlo Qualizza in district 10 on October 10, 2025, two political parties will field candidates in the 12 districts and for mayor, in addition to three independent candidates:
