Ville de Brossard invites the public to soak up the holiday atmosphere at the 30th edition of its Christmas Market. On November 15, 16 and 17, magic will take hold of the Alphonse-Lepage sociocultural center, located at 7905 San Francisco Avenue!
More than 75 craft and gourmet artisans will be on hand to help visitors find original gifts with a local flavour, all in a festive, family-friendly setting. The tasting of chocolate or mulled wine with seasonal spices, as well as a variety of other treats, entertainment and festive characters will delight visitors throughout the event.
The outdoor site, meanwhile, will be the scene of a host of activities to delight young and old alike: shows under the big top, circus performances, the little holiday train, gourmet delights, and more. Santa and his elves will also be making the trip to Brossard for the occasion!
La Bottine Souriante among special guests
La Bottine Souriante will also be joining in to mark this milestone in the history of Brossard’s flagship holiday event.
For the third year running, musician, singer and author Nicolas Boulerice, a proud representative of Quebec trad music, will act as spokesperson for the event.
“Our Christmas Market, with its enchanting decor inspired by European traditions, its indoor and outdoor shutters, and its offer of entertainment and unique craft creations is an unmissable event that is sure to put stars in the eyes of young and old alike. This 30th edition promises to be a memorable one, featuring a legendary traditional music group: La Bottine Souriante! It’s with great enthusiasm that I invite the people of Brossard and the surrounding area to join us for the holiday season. “said Brossard Mayor Doreen Assaad.
