La grande marche de Brossard | Physical activity in a festive setting on October 19

10 October 2024 Last update 17/05/2025

The Grande marche de Brossard is back again this year! On October 19, you’re invited to dress up for a walk in the Great Urban Park.

The Grande marche, supported by the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie, is back in action across the province for its 10th edition! Brossard will be taking part again this year, along with some 100 other cities and municipalities across Quebec that will also be organizing a Grande marche.

The Mayor of Brossard, Doreen Assaad, invites citizens to don their running shoes and their best costumes, and join in the fun: “On October 19, we’ll meet on the trails of the Grand Parc Urbain, to get active in a festive, unifying and inclusive setting. The energy shown by the people of Brussells at every edition of the event contributes to the magic of the decorations and entertainment. Once again, there’ll be plenty of surprises along the 3 km route. You won’t have enough time to see it all!

The public is invited to register at onmarche.com for a chance to win one of 50 Mammut-branded Grand marcheur outfits, and to feel the pulse of the event.

Brossard program on October 19

In Brossard, La Grande marche will start near the intersection of boulevards du Quartier and Lapinière, at 6:30 p.m. Walkers are invited to join us for a free 3 km stroll around the Grand Parc urbain, dressed in their best Halloween costumes. Departures and entertainment will run continuously until 8:30 pm. Participants are also encouraged to take part in the two-lap challenge, to take full advantage of the on-site entertainment and increase the number of kilometers covered.
