Pet Day is back for its 11th edition in Brossard. Join us on Saturday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the aréna Michel-Normandin, for a fun-filled day dedicated to microchipping,adoption and animal welfare. It’s a unique opportunity to meet your future four-legged friend, while enjoying some great family time together.

Low-cost micropunching!

You can have your dog or cat microchipped at the event, at a reduced cost. Owners must register their pets online at brossard.ca/jac before the event. The form must be duly completed and the $28 fee (taxes included) paid at the time of registration. The chip is professionally inserted, so it’s quick and permanent. This makes it easier to find your lost pet. It’s also a responsible and loving act. Places are limited. Don’t delay!

How do I register?

  1. Visit us at brossard.ca/jac.
  2. Fill in the PDF form
  3. Choose your time slot (between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.)
  4. Pay $28 taxes included and register

Show up on May 31 at the reserved time. Temporary daycare will be provided for microchipped pets to enable you to visit the booths.

Adopt responsibly 🐱🐶

Several adorable animals will be available for adoption: cats, a few dogs, and sweet rabbits. Coming from shelters, they’ve experienced abandonment, but their hearts are still overflowing with love to give. Today, they dream of a fresh start, a warm home, comforting arms and kind eyes. They dream of YOU. Give them a second chance. Be the family that changes everything.

Programming bursting with energy!

Numerous animal professionals will be on hand at Pet Day to answer your questions and discuss a range of topics.

On the menu for this event:

  • microchipping clinic (for registered animals);
  • local exhibitors and artisans;
  • animal behaviorists;
  • dog agility shows (L’Univers de Shelby);
  • a treasure hunt;
  • make-up workshop for children;
  • a street truck, the Faim Renard, to satisfy your cravings.

Animals not allowed inside

To ensure the well-being of shelter animals on site, no pets are allowed on site. Only animals registered for microchipping will be allowed in the microchipping area.
