Tribute to the victims of the tragedy in British Columbia
Ville de Brossard lowered its Hôtel de ville flags to half-mast today to show its support for the families, loved ones and entire community of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, following the tragedy that occurred on February 10.
“The tragic events that have struck Tumbler Ridge are heartbreaking and fill us with deep sadness. At this time of sorrow, our thoughts and condolences are with the families of the victims, those injured and the entire community affected by this tragedy. The Ville de Brossard wishes to express its compassion, solidarity and support for Tumbler Ridge,” said Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.
Flags at Hôtel de Ville will be flown at half-mast until February 17 inclusively.
