The 20th Grande Guignolée des médias de la Rive-Sud is underway!
Ville de Brossard is asking the public to give generously to the 20th annual Grande Guignolée des médias de la Rive-Sud on December 2. Citizens are invited to take part in this vast campaign of solidarity with the less fortunate communities in the region.
Online, cash or street donations
It’s easy and secure to make a donation online at guignoleerivesud.org, all year long.
Volunteers will be collecting donations at the Panama and Chevrier terminuses on this day of caring.
If you don’t have the opportunity to hand in your cash donation on December 2, you can also drop it off at the cash registers of Jean Coutu pharmacies in Brossard.
Donations of non-perishable goods
From December 3 to 24, non-perishable food items can be dropped off at 1050 Auguste Street, Greenfield Park (opposite the Home Depot).
Donations collected will be donated to the 23 organizations in the Longueuil agglomeration that work with underprivileged families to provide them not only with emergency food supplies, but also with comfort and support.
“Once again this year, we’re operating in a very special context, but on this 20th edition of the Grande guignolée des médias, I invite the public to be as generous and caring as in previous years, in order to support the most disadvantaged among us. On behalf of the members of the municipal council, I am pleased to announce that the city is donating $1,000 to La Maison d’entraide Saint-Alphonse,” said Brossard mayor Doreen Assaad.
