The calendar of activities will be packed for the next few months, with plenty to keep you entertained!

In 3-2-1, we have fun, we get active, we discover and we throw ourselves into the water! The heat is well underway and Brossard has its heart set on summer. The calendar of activities will be packed for the coming months, with plenty of choices to keep you entertained, in keeping with current government regulations.

“I’m convinced that the exciting outdoor program will bring color and joy to the lives of Brossard residents. Families, young and old alike will be able to get out of their homes to have fun, get moving and enjoy the warm weather, all in complete safety,” explained Brossard Mayor Doreen Assaad.

Brossard has fun!

Starting on June 26, Brossard will be inviting its citizens to all areas of the city. Families and residents are invited outside to enjoy festive open-air events, sometimes with reservations, other times with free access or surprise entertainment.

The new “Rendez-vous Extra” shows are original and free of charge, presented in delimited spaces with reserved seating, to comply with health standards. Ticket reservations are free, and will be made on the Eventbrite platform on dates announced in advance, so that everyone can plan their summer well.

Brossard’s “Rendez-vous Extra” program includes a 50-minute opening show on the esplanade of City Hall on Saturday, June 26, with singer Dominique Fils-Aimé and guests, nine (9) musical shows with performances by multidisciplinary artists around singer Francesca Gagnon, in several parks on Saturdays throughout the summer, and cinema under the stars on August 19.

The program will be rounded out by free-access activities such as a large-scale family rally in the city, surprise events in public places, a visual art exhibition in two (2) parks, and a spectacular architectural projection outside the aquatic complex at the end of August.

Brossard takes the plunge!

Starting June 24, the public will be able to visit one of Brossard’s six (6) outdoor pools. It should be noted that measures, such as reducing reception capacity, have been put in place to facilitate compliance with the physical distance required by the Public Health Department. To this end, certain time slots, normally busier, will be accessible by reservation, for residents only. Ages 6 to 12, meanwhile, can record their reading time in a notebook and collect coupons for a chance to win prizes at the closing party. Registration takes place on site continuously during the summer period, starting on June 25.

From the end of June to mid-August, the library offers a themed, fun activity every week. Games, shows, challenges, crafts and more will be offered remotely.
