Fête du voisinage 2025 | Registration now open in Brossard!

28 March 2025 Last update 17/05/2025

Ville de Brossard is encouraging its residents to register for its Neighborhood Day on June 7.

Ville de Brossard encourages its residents to register for Neighbours’ Day, which will be celebrated across Quebec on June 7. Powered by Espace MUNI, this event is the perfect opportunity to maintain good neighborly ties and learn more about the people in your neighborhood. All you have to do is sign up, organize a party in your own image and invite the people next door.

The aim of the Neighborhood Party is to bring the community together around a convivial activity to develop or strengthen ties between neighbors, break isolation and encourage mutual aid. Brunch, potluck, BBQ, picnic, 5 à 7, organizers are spoilt for choice. The town even offers to help organize the festivities. Various tools, such as posters and invitation cards, as well as an organizer’s kit, are offered free of charge to citizens wishing to purchase promotional material. It’s also possible to borrow tables (limited quantities) and request street closures, if required. Tips on how to be the Pro at the party are also available at brossard.ca/feteduvoisinage.

As she does every year, Mayor Doreen Assaad will be on hand to greet Brossard residents at certain festivities. “It’s always a great pleasure for me to take part in this event, to exchange with the people of the neighbourhood, my neighbors from near and far, who make up this beautiful city we’re lucky enough to call home. I’d like to thank them for welcoming me so warmly every year. As president of Espace MUNI and mayor, I’m very proud and honoured to actively contribute to improving the quality of life of our citizens,” said Ms. Assaad.
