The Mayor of Brossard welcomed over 300 citizens to the traditional annual exchange of wishes with elected officials.
Brossard Mayor Doreen Assaad, accompanied by city councillors, welcomed more than 300 citizens to the traditional annual exchange of New Year’s wishes with elected officials. This convivial gathering was held at the Alphonse Lepage socio-cultural center on January 14.
At the same time, the winners of the drawing contest to illustrate the City’s Christmas cards received their prizes from Mrs. Assaad. Angelika Grumich, from École Samuel-De Champlain, and Meyssa Heba, from École Georges-P.-Vanier, received a $75 gift card and a frame for their drawing.
The mayor said she was delighted to meet citizens in person again after the pandemic, and to see that the event was as popular as ever with Brossard residents. This annual event is a special opportunity for the general public to meet with elected representatives in a warm and informal atmosphere.
