At its August 22 meeting, the municipal council appointed Daniel Lucier as deputy mayor.
At its August 22 meeting, the Brossard municipal council appointed Daniel Lucier, municipal councillor for district 10 (sectors L-M-N), to act as deputy mayor. This appointment took effect on August 23, 2023, for an indefinite period.
The deputy mayor has and exercises the powers of the mayor when the latter is absent from the territory or is unable to fulfill the duties of her office.
In accordance with the Cities and Towns Act, a municipality is required to have a deputy mayor at all times.
