Cultural policy | Ville de Brossard launches a survey for its cultural action plan

31 May 2021 Last update 17/05/2025

Ville de Brossard is inviting its residents to take part in the “Dream your cultural Brossard” online survey until June 14.

Brossard, May 31, 2021 – In order to guide the cultural and artistic offering on the territory, Ville de Brossard is inviting citizens to complete an online survey. Under the theme Dream your cultural Brossard, it is available until Monday June 14 on the city’s website at www.brossard.ca/politique-culturelle.

In this survey, respondents will be able to express their preferences in terms of activities and venues, comment on the factors that encourage or limit their participation, suggest improvements in the field of arts and culture, as well as projects to be developed with and for the community.

The survey is part of the City’s cultural policy review process, which began with two roundtable discussions in mid-May. The information gathered will enable the city to set priorities for action in the years ahead.

“I invite all citizens to take part in this survey, because the more people who complete it, the more the cultural actions of the city and its partners will reflect their interests. The results of this participatory process will enable us to propose an innovative, diversified and interesting cultural and artistic offering for all,” declared Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.

The revision of the cultural policy was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Quebec government and the City of Brossard under the cultural development agreement.
