Once again, autumn promises to be full of activities and events in Brossard!
Children, teens, adults and seniors are invited to cultivate their passions and sow new ones with the varied programming of Cultivate Your Fall!
On the move and on the move
Fitness and wellness classes, pickleball and badminton leagues, indoor and outdoor free activities are on the menu for the Fall 2024 session. To find out how to register and the complete program from the City and recognized organizations, visit activities.

Different registration dates for the autumn session
Registration for sports leagues and fitness and wellness classes will be online from 6 p.m. on August 27. Registrations for Music School courses will also open on August 27, at 6 p.m., by telephone or e-mail. Registration for lifesaving and teaching courses will be held in person at the aquatic complex from September 21 at 9 a.m., while registration for aquatic activities will be held online from September 24 at 6 p.m. Open bathing will resume on September 30, after the maintenance shutdown scheduled from August 26 to September 29.
An autumn of encounters
On Saturday, September 14, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., at the Grand Parc urbain, citizens are invited to a brand new activity, a first for Brossard: Rencontre avec Ma Ville! This unique opportunity to bring staff and citizens together, to forge links between the municipal administration and the Brussells community, all in a relaxed and fun setting. Many activities for young and old await you!

A weekend of art
From September 27 to 29, take part in the cultural event of the year as part of the popular Journées de la culture. The Perform’ART event brings together more than 50 artists from a variety of disciplines! In a dynamic, participatory, festive and unifying format, Perform’ART showcases creators and artistic enterprises, and presents a multitude of workshops and performances. So you can take part in colorful activities to discover and experiment with the arts at any age, and all completely free of charge! Discover the complete performart program.
Young at Heart Week celebrates its 10th anniversary!
We’re celebrating in style from September 30 to October 4 with an exciting line-up of free events. The young at heart are invited to celebrate by attending lectures and festive shows, while taking part in original activities. Semaine des Jeunes de Coeur ends on a high note with the closing show at Club Dix30 featuring the great Patsy Gallant!
A taste of Halloween at the Grande marche de Brossard
On Saturday, October 19, young and old alike are invited to don their finest costumes and come and walk the 3 km-long route of the Grande marche de Brossard, around the Grand parc urbain, presented as part of the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie.
Marché de Noël de Brossard: as festive inside as out!
For its 30th anniversary, the Marché de Noël de Brossard will showcase more than 75 craft and gourmet artisans. Little Holiday Train, Santa and his elves, shows and activities for kids, entertainment, themed exhibition and more! It’s the perfect opportunity to cross a few gifts off the list and give the festivities a local flavor. Don’t miss it on November 15, 16 and 17! Psitt! On November 16, starting at 1 p.m., La Bottine Souriante will set the outdoor stage alight.
Art and culture galore this fall!
Starting September 20, Espace Mur-mur des arts will host Pascal Normand’s exhibition Devoir de mémoire et d’identité sur le cadre bâti. Starting September 27, Hall des Arts will host Voix Migrantes – Nos impressions mouvantes, presented by students from schools in the Centre de services scolaires Marie-Victorin. Galerie Renée-Blain, for its part, will awaken the senses with Jarome’s innovative and immersive exhibition Sentir.
Two outdoor exhibitions are also on offer this autumn. Until October 6, take advantage of your visit to City Hall to discover Regalia, Aboriginal Pride. From October 19, the Grand Parc urbain will be transformed into a gallery, with the exhibition Les quatre saisons de Brossard (The Four Seasons of Brossard ) by Brossard photographer Walter Manuel. You can also discover the 25 works on the L’art public au détour tour in person or virtually, using the Baladodécouverte application. Take the opportunity to stop by Fragments, at the Poly-aréna sports complex!
The café-concerts series continues
On September 15, woodwind flautist Patrick Therrien will lull you to sleep with his sweet melodies inspired by his French and native roots. On November 24, the Les Main Tendres quartet will intoxicate you with their multi-influenced repertoire, ranging from jazz to Eastern European and South American music. Tickets are still available from the box office. Coffee and pastries included!
Public Library Week: My library has a thousand and one faces
From October 19 to 26, several activities will be offered at the library to mark this special week. And don’t miss the library’s regular programming for young and old alike. The SODA space is also back in action! Details on biblio.
