On November 15, Brossard had its Child-Friendly Municipality (CFM) accreditation renewed by EspaceMuni
Ville de Brossard joins the large-scale provincial mobilization movement initiated by Collectif petite enfance and Espace MUNI to mark the Grande semaine des tout-petits and Universal Children’s Day. For the occasion, the Child-Friendly Municipality (CFM) flag was hoisted on the Town Hall flagpole.
“Children play an important role in community life and in the composition of our city’s social fabric. Children are our future, and we want young families to see Brossard as the perfect place to put down roots,” said Brossard Mayor Doreen Assaad.
On November 15, Brossard was proud to have its Child-Friendly Municipality (CFM) accreditation renewed by Espace Muni. “We place great importance on the positive development of children, and are constantly working to improve our programming and the services offered through our recognized organizations. This accreditation confirms that our initiatives are heading in the right direction. I would like to thank Espace Muni for this recognition,” added Ms. Assaad.
Finally, to mark Universal Children’s Day on November 20, activities are planned at the Bibliothèque de Brossard Georgette-Lepage, including a storytelling session for toddlers.
