As the electoral list revision period approaches, the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Brossard invites all citizens to check their registration now in order to exercise their right to vote in the November 2, 2025 municipal elections.

Due to the current strike at Canada Post, the City is deploying several means of information to remind the population of the importance of checking their registration without delay.

For those citizens who wish to do so, the City will also begin delivering notices to electors in person at City Hall, according to the following schedule:

  • Thursday, October 9: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday, October 10: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 11: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 14: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 15: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Check your registration before October 18

The vast majority of voters are already registered, but it’s essential to make sure.

Two simple ways to do it:

  1. Online at brossard.ca/elections or by phone at 450 923-6311, 450 923-6322
  2. In person, at Brossard City Hall, during the electoral list revision period, from October 16 to 18, 2025.

To be eligible to vote, your registration must be completed by October 18, 2025.

Clear, accessible information

In Brossard, all information relevant to the municipal elections is disseminated on the city’s website, on its social media, through bciti+ and its CodeRED automated alert system, and at its municipal service points to effectively reach the population.

“Every vote counts. Even in a particular context, it is essential that all voters be able to exercise their right to vote. Voting means deciding the future of our city,” emphasizes Me Joanne Skelling, returning officer for the Ville de Brossard.
